Solenne: Skincare & Beauty Brand Template
Solenne is a warm, photograph-led website template for a skincare or beauty brand, with a working shop front built in. Cream, brick and charcoal, Instrument Serif with Instrument Sans, and motion that follows the scroll give it the feel of an independent label rather than a generic store. The home page opens on a full-screen film behind the brand name, then moves through the essentials, a pinned section where a bottle pours as you scroll, a formula table that shows every active percentage, a routine of stacking cards, testimonials, the journal, FAQ and a footer with a film playing inside the wordmark. A first-visit intro counts up and lifts away like a curtain, and the text waits for it before it rises into place. The shop has category filters and sorting kept in the address, so filtered views can be shared. Product pages carry a swipeable gallery, a sticky buy panel, the formula and full ingredient list, how to use it and products that pair well. The bag drawer handles quantities, a free-shipping bar and the subtotal, is saved in the browser and stays in step across tabs, and hands checkout to any payment provider you point it at. There are also About, Journal, article, Contact (with a working form), checkout and 404 pages. A custom cursor shows "View" over products, buttons fill with a liquid wave on hover, and every page is tuned for phones, tablets and desktops, with reduced motion respected. Built with Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, Motion and Lenis. All products, articles and copy live in plain TypeScript files, and colours and type are tokens in one stylesheet. Fonts load from Google Fonts. It scores 87–97 on mobile and 96–99 on desktop in Lighthouse, with 100 for SEO and best practices, and a README walks you through setup, editing and deploying to Vercel.
